Breeder's Cup name change

I guess I'm getting old.

It will always be the Breeder's Cup to me. This new name of World Thoroughbred Championship just won't do.

First, it doesn't flow off the tongue. Too many sylables.

Second, WTC has a bad connotation.

The change happened a while ago .. but I still can't get used to it either .. it'll always be Breeders' Cup to me, too.
