Not exactly a new revelation.

Just finished watching the Byrd - Oquendo fight.

For the 2nd week in a row I wonder what fight the judges were watching.

I couldn't agree more....even more amazing than just the decision, one judge had it 117-111 for Byrd, 9 rounds to 3. Oquendo won that fight, probably 7-5 or 8-4.

I knew boxing was crooked way back because the fighter do not make enough to pay to fix their faces!!LOL!

I gave up on boxing years ago when Evander Holyfield was awarded a draw in a fight he obviously lost (against Lennox Lewis I believe). Paid $50 to watch a crooked fight. Don't know about the Byrd-Oquendo fight, but a friend told me that De LaHoya lost his fight fair and square.

Has anybody performed a study of the relationship between questionable decisions and Don King being involved?

BTW Was he involved in the Byrd/Oquendo fight? I saw the fight but wasn't paying attention to the logo on the canvas :).

Two men walk into ring.
One walks out.
No rounds, no counts, just fight til the other guy can't.
Like wrestling! ;)

maybe claim boxes in boxing like horseracing will produce better competition! weak opponents are the norm.
