Twinspires gets a Big F- on the first try.

First of all, I have a youbet.com account since they have opened.

They are excellent except for customer service, there they are horrible,

First of all, they have been build their betting system on speed, their page loads fast, the betting pad is great, and the whole system moves like a bullet, it's built around the player.

Now Twinspires, here is the list.

1. Logging in

2. Finding the track one wants

3. Getting the pad to comes up.

4. Finding the bets one made.

5. Showing the bets one made.

6 There server was slow as a snail.

7. Getting time out five minutes later, this was my big concern, I had trouble getting back in, it they have this feature on the 16th, they will lose ever youbet customer they have.

8. Too many buttons to choose and go to,

So, as of now, I am looking for a new ADW, I think, TVG or Expressbet, here I come.

So anyone else.

If Churchill was smart they would run Youbet as a separate entity, they can't even handle the volume of players that they have now on Twinspires, but nobody ever said they were smart.

Remember the TSN debacle.

On You Bet you can fund your account on line with Master Card. On Twinspires you have to call an operator, a pain in the ass.

What they showed last night, they will lose every Youbet customer they get on the 16th

It's like dsl or high speed internet, do you want to go back to dial up.

The Twinspires setup has been working quite well for me in the 10 years I've been using it. Check your computers, check your dsl connections. Something is screwed up at your end. The only time streaming video slows is the huge days like Breeders Cup, and most of us have a tv feed of those days anyway.

Come on, I would bash right along with you guys if the situation were as bad as you allude.

Are you getting the dsl bandwidth you are paying for?...call your provider(s) they can check at their end for you.

I agree with Igeteven,
the wagering platform is poor at TS, the only place to access the wager queue is from the classic page! jumping from one page to another to in order to monitor your wagers and watch the odds at more that five tracks at one time, I use batch wager upload (had to re-code for TS  ) I need two windows open to use upload draft wager, monitor draft wager and be able to use Twinspire TV, too many buttons, too many windows, Youbet is fast and efficient. TS is slow and cumbersome.

I have emailed the Sr. Director of Product Management at Twinspires to express my concerns, he seems to think everything is fine and dandy, he even offered to walk me through the batch wager process, which I have been using at Youbet for years, I think I need to walk him through the process of constructing a wager! this change is very frustrating for me, if we all voice our concerns maybe they will make the necessary changes to make this a first class wagering platform?

Dear Mr. Corbett,
This email is in response to the consolidation of Youbet into Twinspires,
I have been an account holder of both twinspires and Youbet since the start, I choose to use the Youbet ADW because it seems more user friendly and efficient, what I would like to see in Twinspires express is the multitrack view, wager queue (batch wagers ect.) track layout, horse watch, I highly recommend a wager queue in TS TV, it is much easier to build wagers and upload batch wagers into the wager queue in order to submit multiple wagers for multiple tracks as post time nears. twinspires tv is great but the wagering platform is poor, the best solution in my opinion would be to add a wager queue to Twinspires TV, the wager pad does not do the job.

The problem with every ADW and their software is they have never conducted a survey or a focus group and asked their customers how they would like to see the software work. They just throw it together to suit themselves or bean counters. In other words take it the way we want you to give us your money.

Have any of you , as customers, ever been surveyed or asked a single question on what would make your betting experience better, quicker or more simple. Hell No! You have been treated the way the customer in Horse racing has always been treated. "Shut up and give us your money and we don't want to hear no stinkin' complaints."

Ditto...and now YouBet 's merger with TS means less of everything for the customer...no competition. I have had both YouBet and TS for as long as they were available.

I have a REAL problem...I'm in NY and TS will NOT show ANY part of NYRA track races, pre-race programs or the actual race to NY residents.

At least YouBet shows the NYRA pre race program, handicapping and block the actual race video. YouBet shows NY races with the picture blacked out and the sound on.
Even that is a joke.

I go to hrtv online and watch NYRA race live for 10 bucks a month. Not the paddock show, just the race. The joke is YouBet LIVE race video is at least 2/3 minutes behind the hrtv video in real race time.

By the time I get back to YouBet, hrtv has posted the winners while BadBet video is loading same nyra race into the gate. What a sham.

I bet now TS will eliminate any NYRA races for NY residents...nyra is competition for CD and CD will avoid nyra tracks where ever they can do so.

I'll go to ExpressBet IF they allow ny residents to see nyra races.

I think you need to actually get HRTV or TVG to see the races live.

NYS is a very moronic state when it comes to.......everything. As a result, I bet less than 5% of my money on NY tracks. There are many other track out there. Nothing in NYS is that compelling.

[QUOTE=Tom]I think you need to actually get HRTV or TVG to see the races live.

I watch the race live on hrtv...but they only show the race...not the nyra paddock or handicapping program. I have little interest in other tracks.

BTW, I ONLY wager on NY with the exception of stakes races run elsewhere.
I been wagering on nyra for many years and it is the best racing anywhere.

I used to play FL and NYRA, but I no longer support tracks that do not support me. I don't care whose fault it is....with all those other tracks out there, I don't have to.

IM experience, NYRA is responsive to customers.

Remember, NYRA is hobbled by the NYSWR board...a collection of "crooks" and political pals who main concern is Lotto.

CDI is THE COMPANY who P$ss$S on it's customers...

If you are a resident of NYS, you will not live video on any ADW. Only Youbet has graced us with the live race call while blacking out the video as some guy stands there and pulls the plug after they load into the gate. I always wonder how much they pay this poor fellow.
Nyra rewards offers instant replay video which is a good 10min. after race declared official.
Your best bet is to subscribe to HRTVlive.com online for 49.99 per yr. You get the actual live racecall and race video.
If anyone has any better video streaming ideas, please post. Its all about the live action.

Today, I had just minor problems

1. I notice if one has 2 computers log in to the same account, it gets shut down within five minutes

2. After one bets, it takes a few minutes to post the bet above.

On Youbet, it's there with one second.

On Youbet, one can have 2 computers log into the same account

So right now, I give them a C , nothing more

F stands for fail. It is not a gradation in the same way that A, B, C, and D are. As such, it is not susceptible to further plus and minus breakdowns. Much like pregnancy, you either fair or you don't. No F pluses or F minuses.

Sorry, just one of my many pet peeves.

they will shut off video if it is coming from two IP's that are the same. Not sure about just two computers logged in. I have logged in multiple browsers on the same computer many many times. But it never lets me run two different video feeds for more than a couple minutes. But, if one is logged into the Mobile site m.twinspires.com it seems to be ok to watch video in two places. My Ipad is sometimes logged into video while I am walking around the house, while video is also running in my office on the desktop.

I don't do this often though. I try to shut down the video when I walk away, just as a habit. It's just good to save them bandwidth (at least in my mind) so they don't get bogged down. I often play via the Ipad and watch video while moving from room to room in the house. I open a browser and video on the Ipad via the mobile site while the computer upstairs is running the wagering screen. I have 4 floors in my house so I am sometimes a long way from the main desktop

Could you confirm this ability to log in from two separate IP addresses using the same account is still possible after the official merger on Tuesday. I have a YB account that allows for this, as I log in when at work and when I am able to run home quickly for lunch. I hope this will not change w the merger, but I do have m.twinspires.com mobile access on my Droid X as a backup plan. Which smartphone do you find is the best for mobile access and live streaming video?

I wonder when "maintenance" will be completed? As of 8:00 am Central Youbet is still down. No notice or link for migration to TS or estimated time when the site will return.

It is probably just my pessimistic nature, but I already had one foot out the door after they announced the merger, but decided to take a wait and see approach.

Another ADW may have a new customer by the time I get home from work.

If calling in and getting set to go, takes more than a few minutes, I am telling them to close the account.

My handle is probably paltry to TS, but I don't think it is anything to sneeze at. Hopefully, someone else will appreciate the business.

I'm messing around with twinspires today and as for wagering, it's moving along just fine and hasn't been slow with me, it actually seemed pretty instant. So far I do like the twinspires pro wagering screen and the twinspires tv.

I enjoyed Youbet's horse watch better than twinspires so far, I haven't seen if there is anywhere for a message to be sent right on the site if a horse enters a race but I did sign up to the stable alert but it says it sends an email, I liked how youbet just notfiy you right on their site. If twinspires does that I'm sure I'll find out since I'm still checking it out but so far it doesn't seem all to bad.

It's a felony to use one of these nifty things to bet in my fine state, but it is still legal to view the races. Enter YouBet. I could log in, be banned from betting, and watch the races for a fee. Today I apparently no longer have an account anywhere so I can at least do the one thing that is not a felony, watch the races. Oh well.

now try doing that with multiple wagers at multiple tracks :bang:
you cannot view your draft wagers as you are constructing them

I would like to know if any of the current users of twinspires have tried any other wagering platform in the last few years?

I have three windows open at Twinspires plus wagerpad pro in the task bar,
classic (the jump around page) for draft wagers, express for multi-track odds and Twinspires TV for video.

curious if TP stands for Twinspires or toilet paper!
I would think that they have all the code for a decent wager queue (Youbet)

I do know that the the amount that I push through the windows weekly is going to drop by the thousands, I can't be the only one? NO MORE CHURN FOR CDI,
they will just raise the take out at CDI tracks to make up the difference, it works every time

How quickly can one resolve a locked account? I entered in same username and password ONCE and got locked out.
Is it really this hard to transfer youbet customers to twinspires? Isn't it a priority for project managers to anticipate the merger date, do a couple of dry runs, and do anything they can to ensure a smooth transition?
Doesn't TwinSpires management recognize that for high volume youbet customers, getting locked out for simple login issues represents a significant decrease in business for CDI in general?
Or, quite frighteningly, do they not care?
I anticipate Magna/Xpressbet and TVG and even NYRA Rewards are salivating at the thought of picking up new previously-disgruntled Youbet customers...

I gotta tell you, it's been working fine for me since I got my password problem fixed. You may be having a speed problem, but I don't think it's Twinspires. Remember, you are probably not talking to the same server you were when it was Youbet. There may be a problem with the route that you are now taking to their servers. Or, something on your machine is causing the problem. You aren't dealing with the same code now. You need to do due diligence on the exact problem. It may not be them.........

Another feature I liked about youbet that I'm noticing twinspires doesn't seem to have, youbet would place all the race times to my time zone. Doesn't seem twinspires does this.

The good news, my .55 balance was transferred! The bad news, and I just logged in for the first time, is with Youbet I could open a track that was done and all the info was still there, odds, pools, results etc. I could handicap and see how I would have done. It looks like only active races are available to view. There are results but the odds of all the horses aren't there. I may not know how to view it all yet. Maybe one of you knows if I can have a view similar to what I used to. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the info :), I've just noticed as well that a page that looks just like Youbet has shown up in the background from when I clicked to use TwinSpiresPro, under Wager Now. At least I think thats when it showed up LOL. I think they could of made this easier

I experienced the same problems. Yeah, it is hard to change over on the fly.

If you bet appx. $40K per month and a total of $500K per year.......they give you a yearly rebate of $2K (.4%).

How can TS do that and possibly still make a profit?

works great, best I have ever seen, NOT
of course I did not make any live wagers, dry runs only, not my usual menu of tracks today.
login issues, video cut off, sat on hold for 30 minutes with TS, they told me to expect these problems until the transfer is complete, it was also mentioned that they have had Youbet techs helping set up the new items at TS, so I suspect what you see is all we are going to get, I still would like a wager queue without all the damn drop down menus. PTC will get a major part of my wagers from here on out, only use TS for tracks not carried by PTC.
Premier Turf Club will have there new video platform up any day now.

I’m a Youbet customer who got switched over this week; Twin Spires certainly strikes me as inferior, but I’ve vowed to give them a week or so before I make up my mind. I’m sure some of it is just learning to navigate their site, and some is just a resistance to change on my part.

Question: The “Twinspires Express” seem to faintly resemble my Youbet experience; what is “Twinspires Pro”? It requires Adobe Air—is that free or does it require payment? Even if it’s free, is Twinspires Pro any enhancement over Twinspires Express?

Adobe Air is free,Twinspires pro is the same as wagerpad pro, just a larger wager pad that you can leave open in your task bar, you can also build conditional wagers in wagerpad pro,Twinspires pro came from Youbet.

I switched over this week. 2 things that I see missing or unclear in the change over.

1) YouBet allowed for video watching with a monthly fee, without betting, which was nice for many players.

2) As a seasonal bettor, I could play $2500 over a short period of time and get a video credit for the next 12 months. I took advantage of that for years.

I've used TS before, so I guess it's like riding a bike. Hopefully, I will get to keep my video credits since I am not betting much presently. I checked and I could watch video today, so maybe that is a good sign.

Corby,

As I horse player for over 35 years, I have had a Youbet account since it has opened,

This is what I want to advise you... Twinspries must move real real fast by Saturday or you will loose 10 percent of all customers by Sunday, and more to follow next week.

1. Speed on all bets and it must show on the page when it bet. Instant, like Youbet.

2. One must be allowed to have 2 or 3 computers on in the same account

3. One must follow youbets pages, your has too much on it, simplicity is key to success....Never forget that, ....microwaves and crackpots are an example.

4. Thousand of people have been following the thread and it will stay there until the problems are solved.

5. Change the colors back to Youbet colors. yours are horrible, hard on the eyes,

6. Do what the customer wants not what you want.

7. All players want speed, nothing less.

Any Questions, please e mail me back

I've had accounts with both for a long time but didn't use Twinspires much because the interface is so clunky. Feels a little like going from Windows 7 to 98. (or 3.1)

My youbet viewing credits are not honored by TS. I keep getting the wagering levels prompt when ever I try to view live racing.

I am totally with you. Youbet was my first and only ADW when I got in the game in '09. I am trying to tell myself it is just resistance to change and to give TS a chance for a few more weeks, but I have been looking around at other ADWs.

I feel like I have been forced to give up my reliable and efficient japanese sedan for a large, lumbering, gas guzzling, constantly breaking down, SUV with tons of bells whistles that I don't want.

Point card Old Youbet +6:

1. Waited on hold with TS for well over an hour the other night. 45 minutes to be told that I was being transferred to someone else and then almost thirty minutes with the next person. Never had to hold when calling youbet more than 7-8 minutes max.

2. Points redemption taking 2-3 days to process? Seriously? Youbet was instant.

3. TS express (old Youbet interface) is now slow and buggy, but alternative TS "classic" is horrendous and counterintuitive.

4. Can't redeem points for PPs. Sure TS gives them to you for "free" as long as you wager on the track. How do I know if I wan't to play a card if I don't look at the PPs first? With Youbet, I would download PPs and often not play. I could also use the PPs to handicap for contests. Only cost me the amount of my "coupon" I redeemed or nothing if I did indeed bet the card. Now I have to bet the track no matter what or they will charge my credit card. I don't think the system was hurting Youbet's bottom line as I always had so many points accumlated from my play.

5. My computer has all of sudden deciding it is going to lock up a lot. Wasn't having that problem prior to intalling all of TS's stuff.

6. I remember my first couple of months with Youbet when I had some minor issues with my direct deposit/autowithdraw. Basically, I was going to not be able to wager that weekend. I called Youbet up, got a nice young lady on the phone, and after a few minutes, Youbet "fronted me the money." Essentially after looking at my play for my first couple months and running a credit check, they decided I was "good for it" and dropped a few hundred in my account until the issue with the bank could be resolved on Monday. That has stuck with me ever since, and I realized that Youbet knows how to get and keep loyal customers. I really don't get the vibe that TS would ever do something like that.

TS Youbet merger +1:

1. So far, the only thing I like about TS is it has forced me to consider using brisnet PP's, which I really hadn't used in the past. Not sold on them as I was fine with my prior PPs, but they are interesting.

Winner: Old Youbet 6 to 1

Wow... Now that I have it written out, I don't know if i will even give TS a chance for a few more weeks...

I figure they will loose around 10% percent this weekend due to speed, and other problems Youbet customers are used to.

By next week, they will loose almost 50% if things don't change. All the money they spent to buy the company will be lost due to their stupidity.

I have no idea where these bosses come from, but they must get their head out of their A.. to keep the rest.

I haven't had the time to really kick around TS much, of course I don't like to be forced into a new platform (one that is completely different) ... my main concerns are that I seem to have lost my watchlist (anyone know of a good free place to set up a watchlist? or does TS offer this and I haven't stumbled on it yet?), lost my video feed credits and ability to watch replays?

Mind you, as I noted, I haven't kicked around the site much yet, but my first log-in those were my concerns initially...I'm guessing with a little time the platform will become familiar...and I'm guessing with an email I can probably get my video credits (though my initial glance didn't even figure out how to watch replays, to me youbet was incredible with this, click a race and theres a button next to each horse for available replays).

My man, plenty of people use 2 or 3 computers for one account, they keep them on different tracks.

Here is one major problem, one gets timed out and one can't use 2 or 3 different computers, I have no idea what you bet, however, serious players who bet a lot will not tolerate this.

Did it accept my wager? no, yes?, no where did it go, oh there it is, ohhhh-no it is gone again, good it just popped up again.

building multiple draft wagers in the classic page, then submitting them from the ready draft page, what a disaster! half the wagers would be missing, construct new wagers to replace the missing ones, then submit the wagers, it would accept the wagers, then only half of the wagers would show up in the submitted drafts page, I now have have more wagers in the draft page than I started with, then they would go away, refresh and come back again, I don't know if I am coming or going.
what the hell did I just wager on! what is my account balance? is this horse racing or the dogs? hell I have no idea.

I have had both acct's since they were available...BrisBet morphed to TwinSpires and the CS deteriorated dramatically. The Brisbet mngt was sharper than the CDI/TS crew.
Same thing will happen to YouBet...the incompetents at CDI rule. Waited 55 minutes to find out that the "seamless migration to TS is not so "seamless. I could not log on to TS using "new"password and was locked-out.

After 55 minutes (one disconnect NMF) the cust serv person knew my problem but it took her 10 minutes to go through all the screen and whatever to manually input my "new passwords" . So much for transparancy.

CDI/TS had ONE YEAR at least to plan this migration. And they cannot even get passwords right w/o rigamarole. I use TS strickly for the BrisnetPP which for me are the best. Youbet was a very good company. Improved dramatically from when I joined in 2001 to now. Excellant customer service and customer friendly.

YouBet went the extra mile to allow me a NY resident to see the NYRA paddock show and then block the race to abide by a useless NYSWB rule...no one pays attention to except NYRA and TwinSpires.

I have NO idea what happens to all unredeemed points I accumulated with both ADW's the last 9 years. I have little hope of that coming out OK if they cannot do a simple password merge.

I'll be using my third account, NYRA REWARDS 90% of the time now that TS has eliminated ALL NYRA prerace video. After years of wagering online, I found that 3 ADW's were what was needed to be able to overcome "ADW problems"

I miss youbet as well :( , I am noticing that I'm having to refresh quite a bit to get accurate information. Also it just seem youbet was set up in orders on how you would like things done, at least with me.

Like I would log in, and it would have the list of tracks and all the times they start that day and it was done in my time zone (PST) then had my horses on the side under my watch list and everything to do with making my bets, getting to the track I want, just seemed alot more smooth. Now just to see what bets I have made, or my balance, etc, I'm constantly having to refresh some sort of page.

If Churchill was smart they would run Youbet as a separate entity, they can't even handle the volume of players that they have now on Twinspires, but nobody ever said they were smart.

Remember the TSN debacle.

That is too easy my dear man, common sense doesn't apply in horse racing,

God, do I miss Youbet.

I was re-directed to the login page three times today while watching or wagering on the races, only to have a password is invalid error , locked out, missed wagers, trashed one computer after I threw it at the wall, will Twinspires reimburse me for damaged hardware.

I cannot be the only one having issues out of the thousands who use this ADW,
it is not my computers (not counting the one that hit the wall), its not my broadband, IT IS Twinspires.

my suggestion to all the prior youbet customers would be to use the twinspires classic layout instead of the platform that looks like youbet. the classic seems to be working without any problems for the last 2 hours. it just doesn't provide any names of anything, but it works.

Do you mean to tell me that I need to log in every few hours at twinspires
I don't use the express page at TS since they dropped the ball on that one, everything I used at Youbet is gone from that page! I use the classic page for wagers and the TV for video only.

dust off the fax and send wagers in would be faster!

was logged on all day (except when I was re-directed to log back in?) now I have been locked out for over an hour. :bang:
all I want to do is check my account, good thing it is not prime racing as I only have a couple of computers left!

youbet was the hertz of the adw industry. twinspires purchased them and the website, one would expect that twinspires will use that website lock, stock and barrel at some point.

Do you mean that on the wager screen you do not see the horse name? If so, what you do is place your cursor on the number of the horse and then the name will appear. I do this as a double check before submitting my wager.

I had 40 bucks transfer, now that it is in someone else's pocket, I won't be betting at Twin Spires unless they go bac to the interface and options that were available with Youbet.

I used "stats" by clicking the horse, jockey, or tranier all the time. Also, my setup for notifications on these same was much better than the brisnet option.

The bettor is always the last consideration of CD. Ask most people who live in Kentucky and you will get the same answer.

Putting aside the technical difficulties for the moment, I can't help but think that Xpressbet (and other ADWs) have missed a golden opportunity here by failing to anticipate that there would be swarms of unhappy ADW customers in the immediate aftermath of the YB/TS merger.

They could have planned to capitalize on this collective dissatisfaction by timing a massive ad blitz (with some primo sign-up perks) to pick off outraged former YB customers who are angered enough to make an immediate switch.

This window of opportunity will soon pass: The TS quirks will either get worked out, and/or people will shrug off the annoyances and stick to what is familiar to them.

Xpressbet (et al) blew it by not foreseeing this and planning a counter-strategy.

I use Twinspires Classic just because that's what I'm used to to,but when I log in there are about 5 options on what type and style of format to choose from.Have you looked at them?Or is this a b**ch first, ask questions later gig?

I saw a lockout when the changeover happened, was emailed, and it was fixed immediately,so I'm not perceiving the mountain of problems some are having. But I also am not hip to the Youbet features either.

I just found a huge problem, if one is running windows 7 64 bit, one will run into trouble, one can't see the video, and any other major feature that is there, I am going to have to reformat the computer to get adobe flash to work.

Adobe flash will not work with a 64 bit system, one must use a 32 bit system.

One must use a 32 bit system, TS runs on Adobe Flash player,

There is no 64 bit program for the video or any other feature that TS uses.

If one is running 64 bit, one must reformat his hard drive and go to a 32 bit system.

One can't go from a 64 bit system to a 32 bit system that I know of.

Any suggestions

IE offers 32 and 64 bit browsers. Doesn't matter if you're running Windows 7 - 64 bit (which allows you to make most of RAM etc.). You can install both a 32 bit and 64 bit browser on a 64 bit computer.

You just need to make sure you install two different versions of Adobe as well - one for your 32 bit browser and one for your 64 bit browser. If Adobe even offers a 64 bit version.

Most web sites aren't designed for a 64 bit browser - so if you are using one you most likely have encountered many issues.

Just use a 32 bit browser and this is a non issue.

there is a 32 bit version of Internet Explorer 8 in Windows 7 that can be found in the "Programs Files x86" folder on the Local C: drive that will work perfectly with the flash plug-in.

The path will be something like this: C:/Program Files (x86)/Internet Explorer/ iexplore.exe

it should work with flash

It's been that way since vista I believe......... take a look in that folder and run the iexplorer.exe and see what happens

This has actually become scarier than I originally anticipated. When placing a pick 4 wager, if a horse is scratched in the first leg (lets say the 5 horse), then the remaining legs of the p4 are blacked out so one cannot select that number in the subsequent legs.
This adds an entire dimension to the wagering snafu. Slow or choppy video or no video is one thing. Slow customer service is another. But blacked out wagering selections on live runners? Really? Isn't that a sure way to attract a lawsuit for fraud by deception?
It's worse than I thought. And no, I do not have an old computer and it is not my hard drive and I am not blind.
How do slower, more aged horseplayers navigate this maze? AND HOW CAN YOU BET ON A RACE WHEN A POSSIBLE RUNNER CANNOT BE SELECTED AS A WINNING WAGER?
I had no problems last week with Youbet. And i have been with them since 2001. And I am not a $2 bettor, not that anything is wrong with that. But my Youbet Platinum Plus status will dip down to nothing when they calculate next month's totals...How does this company plan to survive if they fail to address this with longstanding, high-volume customers?

Here is what is left to clean up their act

1. Will pays, half the time I get the, half them half the time I don't

2. When a wager is made, it takes to long to post on the page, it's in the log, but not on the page. 2-3 minutes wait (unacceptable)

3. Sometimes they are fast, other times slow, their Server can't handle the load.

4. Also, unprepared for the new people coming on board.

To the rest of you that play one race or two, it's alright, however, when one is playing race to race, it's still a nightmare.

5. Customer service says, we are working on it, yea they working on it, they have to replace their server, costs will be 100 grand and up. Sure they will do it.

Are you making this stuff up?

As Ralph and other have said, there is a 32-bit version of IE and a 64-bit version of IE. Both come with and run on 64 bit windows.

Plus, as they also told you, you can simply download Chrome, which I use...

You shouldn't go spouting off stuff about having to reformat your computer...other computer newbies might take you seriously and have to suffer through something that is completely unnecessary.

Think before you type comes to mind here.

Didn't they shut down the Del Mar Fan Forum at one time?

Yeah and at that time it was actually a decent joint with a bunch of fun characters, some decent handicapping going on, some good off-topic banter, and a little bit of unique west coast insight.

A few of the more entertaining and insightful stalwarts re-registered when they sterilized the place into oblivion and reopened, but quite a few of the best contributors were a bit miffed and stopped playing.

I still make a stop to see who is and who isn't giving 117% with useful or at least interesting things to say, but it has basically devolved into one big running joke about one member.

Believe, me, on, this.
