lost about $200

Filly and Mare turf i wanted to go against Midday.

I picked 3 bombs (2,4,11/ALL) doubles.. $4 doubles. Cost $132 Took a shot.

Shared account won at huge odds. I think 40ish to 1.. I could have easily picked her and hit a huge double!! ughhh..

Lost on the first three BC races, won the last three with a nod to Pace for the bomb. I jumped off the Euro's after the first three and changed my bets to the american contingent.

No Euro's tomorrow for me they did not run to form today.

I had More than Real heavy win/place and exacta.
Didn't do very well on any of the other races though.
Up a bit, but nothing to write home about.

Down about $150 for the day. Was close on a few but just wasn't doing the bets right I guess.

The whole hindsight being 20/20, will drive ya crazy sometimes. I was on the phone with WinterTriangle, and she kept telling me the 4, 5, and 7 in the F&M Turf. I thought Midday would probably win, or at least be 2nd, but picked other horses in my wagering. Kept thinking to myself, no way in hell Shared Account and Keertana 1) one of them win 2) both be ITM. What do ya know, I just had to smile as Shared Account started to edge ahead right in front of us, and then watching Keertana on the jumbotron in front of us getting up for 3rd. Then afterwards, shaking my head in anger for NOT LISTENING!!! Good job WT!

Lost a little.

Made a stupid Early pick 4 that surrounded it but just didn't have Eldafaar and Bobby Flay horse on the same ticket.

Very stupid error....Cost me hitting the Pick 4 for a $1000

Of course the brain dead ride by Lezcano on the Toner filly didn't help!!!

I hit both pick 4s at CD incl 100 win plays on Bobby Flays horse on turf More Than Real and Prado's bomb beating Midday.

Reason for my plays:

Bobby Flay is a great chef and personality.

Prado is a great upset jockey in long races because he waits and waits and waits..

http://paceadvantage.com/forum/images/SCNums/5.jpg Same here. I hit one Place bet and that was it for the day. An absolute disaster.

Due to the DQ and a SERIOUS brain fart on my part in race 9.

I actually was able to have a decent day because the one race I snuck out to watch during my lunch break at work ended up being the Shared Account race. I only had $5 to win on him though because I didn't get time to study the card and didn't bring a lot of cash with me. It was more a hunch/odds play than anything.

I'll probably lose it all tomorrow after actually putting logic into my selections and putting action on every race. :D

I am going to play hell building a UDM in Jcapper for this angle............

WinterTriangle

I was on the phone with WinterTriangle, and she kept telling me the 4, 5, and 7 in the F&M Turf.

You were at the track and said you had lost $. I said me too. (My day was going to be a disaster if I didn't do something different).

If the bankroll is down do not play the chalkiest horse on top. :D

There were enough angles to make the #5 usable...it was a build-your-bankroll play.

I believe her class was vastly underestimated? Almost beat Proviso (killer late kick), barely lost to Casablanca Smile, and beat Forever Together---- and cost more at Keenland than Forever Together, Phola, and Maram all added together. Pleasantly Perfect/Pleasant Colony/ Smart Strike, combined w/Motion's wins on this surface and the layoff angle. All this for 45-1?

The #4 was ITM 6 of 7 at CD, horse for the course, and ITM 18 of 20 of all her races.

Then---- some luck to make the upset come true.

Having my exacta run 2-3 in the F+M Turf stunk, but Unrivaled Belle made things right in the nightcap to where I made about $25.

:2: I had the Gomez winner, but none of the rest of money was even close. As a better I hate the breeders cup. You have to try pick prices because the short priced horses generally don't do well.

Doesn't that just drive you nuts? Gotta get that out of your head today so it doesn't happen again. At least that's what I'm gonna try to do.:D

I would hope CJ had a great day. That was a wonderful display of handicapping, mixed with value thoughts on his website yesterday (imo). Really nice work from a sharp guy.

Had Awesome Feather and Unrivaled Belle but finished only 15% up on the day. Also played Keertana, which would have been nice.
