Where does he get these guys & how come they all win at 30+ percent.

After all horses trained by Nick Canani (F.C's main man)were scratched the other day at Calder, now "Fabulous Frank" has horses entered today under 2 different guys:

Ron Faucheux who's winning at a 40% clip; 73% itm; 33% first time with trainer

and in the 8th race his listed trainer is someone named Luis Ramirez who has zero lifetime starts. How long before he reaches those stratospheric heights where few trainers have gone before ?

A: By putting out an ad in the back pages of Barron's. ;)

Ron Faucheaux 40.4% as discovered by talent scout Mr. Calabrese:

Year Starts Firsts Seconds Thirds Earnings
2010 45 18 8 7 $ 170,334
2009 2 1 0 0 $ 7,200

Compare that to the celebrated Rudy R. Rodriquez 29.5%, who once dabbled in race-riding.

Part of it is that they run legit 20's for 10 a lot of the time. But, on the flip side, you have to have a 'certain' kind of trainer that can put a 20k horse in for 10 and NOT get claimed. I can't imagine too many people are claiming their horses. Why that's true, i have no idea.

Actually, many are claimed off FCC,but generally not too many by other sharp claiming trainers.

i have sold frank horses for $35,000 that he runs for maiden $10,000. all those horses run 1 work short of being ready and they win cheap. then he puts them right back in for the same tag and wins again, then the cat is out of the bag he steps them up to $20k, wins and usually loses the horse. he isn't afraid to make a trip to the window either.
