Liberals eat your hearts out. Bush, even though a lot younger than than the dunderhead in the WH, can still throw strikes. He appears to be in great shape from the way he tossed that ball in the Ranger opener.

What a class act! Bush reminds me a lot of Juan Williams -- very likable and classy. I like them both even though I disagree and have disagreed considerably with their positions.

I'm sure BO thinks the same way. He's a legend in his own mind.

Nice throw Pres Bush. These things are usually a disaster. Can't remember when I've seen a good one like that.

He tossed a really nice one on some other occasion. I think it was opening day when he was prez.

Nice throw Pres Bush. These things are usually a disaster. Can't remember when I've seen a good one like that.He threw his best one during the 2001 World Series at Yankee Stadium, right after 9/11. Unlike today, he threw it from atop the mound...

Box: Unlike your description, I thought it a little high and outside (hard right) , unlike the Post 9-11 pitch, which wasn't on FOX, and was more unifying (down the middle).;)

The clear W.S. Opening winner has been 83 ? year old TB with his 2 classics!

I raise a glass, nay, a MUG, to this journalist named "brooks" for the vaunted YardBarker. The internet is such a wonderful place! :)

Yup, the Yankees lost and didn't make it to the World Series. The Rangers did. I thought that was well established fact by now...

2 months from now everybody but the Giants fans will have hard time remembering who won. Even now they are only ones care. There more interest in who is going to pick up Randy Moss than anything connected to baseball now.

From The Onion sports network:

ARLINGTON, TX—Ten years after signing a record $252 million contract to play baseball in Texas, third baseman Alex Rodriguez finally delivered for the Rangers by leading the franchise to its first-ever World Series. "A-Rod came up big for us this entire series, all the way up until the last out," Rangers manager Ron Washington told reporters during a postgame press conference, saying that the Rangers would have had no chance of beating the New York Yankees without Rodriguez's remarkable performance at the plate. "It was a long time coming, but you have to give the guy credit. He was the Rangers' MVP, no question." Washington added that seeing Rodriguez take Texas to the World Series was one thing, but A-Rod almost single-handedly beating the Yankees was "extra sweet."
