View Full Version : Wish we could see more of Bob Neumeier.

Better known to us Bostonians as "Neumy" it seems like we only see him on tv for a couple races a year. It's definitely a treat for me to see him on NBC doing the Derby coverage. While most analysts are boring, annoying, etc, I think Neumy is one of the funniest guys/analysts around (not sure if you can tell that by his limited coverage). He used to do a daily talkshow here in Boston and is definitely beloved. He used to do the color commentary for the Hartford Whalers and did the Patriots post game show. He definitely has a love for the ponies. I'd love to see him on TVG. :)

Surely you jest. He might be a great guy, and good commentator.
But as a handicapper, fooorgetit.
Soooory... but he's a "dunce" in the handicapping department, from what I've seen.

He used to be a big gambler at the track. Took home a huge Pick 6 many years ago. Not sure if he still plays to that level.

He knows his stuff, just seemed to have a lot of bad days on the NBC telecasts.
