View Full Version : FREAKY (QH) does it again

Reigning Quarter Horse World Champion Freaky stumbles on the way out the gate, and still comes in at 20.97 tonight, only a 100th sec off his track record of 20.96 last year in this race. If he hadn't stumbled he probably would have broken his own record. On to the Champions of Champions.

That all-white face certainly is distinguishing, as is his massive hind end. What a neat horse.

Can anyone link to a good photo of him? I lost mine

I just saw the replay! Did he get bumped, too?

He's a fasty!

Winter T and Shelby...

Can you post a link to the replay? I haven't seen this colt...Winter T...I looked up his pedigree, pretty damned good. They have a photo of him, but it's a head shot, so I'd love to see his entire body.
I'm not into QH racing much anymore, since I quit my breeding Appendix QH's, race bred...but still like to see the really good ones.

Not to hijack, but did anyone see Apollitical Jess winning Sunday night ? Stunning, and part of a $4,200-plus pick-six ... which Toetoe did not hit. :( .

Yea, that was an awesome race. I agree. Princelike in the next race blew the doors off also.

I love his white face. :)

I don't really care for a full white face like that...but, that's just me. The ting is, once he's retired and living on a farm, when he's out in the Sun, he's going to sunburn, so his owner will have to take care about that.
Like most top end QH's, he does have a great body!!
:)

I learn something new almost every day that I read here. I didn't know horses could get sunburned!

At least he won't look silly like us humans do with a big slather of white sunblock on his nose. :D

His owners would be wise to use sunblock, Shelby...and either use a face mask on him or apply a dark ointment under his eyes (like football players)...I have seen some bad cases of sunburn on horses, a few to the point of blistering on the nose.
Maybe buy him a cool  pair of shades:D
