Hey all,
Just wondering if anyone's played this and how big the pool is. Thinking about giving it a shot (15% takeout is appealing)

Any comments?

Thanks.

The bet is interesting, I think Arlington tried it, maybe still has it?

but carryover tonight at Northville is $383 (75% of net pool) :(

Place capping in harness is different than T-bred ... more "No win, no hit the board" type results due to the breaking possibilities.

Thanks Ray. A tough proposition particularly in light of the small pool. Even if you cap well enough/get lucky enough there may not be much reward.

I was there last night and they were advertising a whopping 383 dollar carryover!

Last week it paid a whopping 39 dollars for 7 of 9.

At least their trying something different. The pools are small there to begin with. When it gets to a few grand interest will be piqued.

Looks like no one's playing that gimmick pic9, too bad, I'd play it if it catches on.

pool $259 ... 7 of 9 paid $22

but I was surprised at Thursday's pool sizes in the 2 highest bet races (4&5)

Race 5
Win.......$2,316
Place.......$718
Show........$334
Exacta....$3,619
Trifecta..$3,598

I gave it a shot and managed 6 of 9. Fun idea.

Interesting concept.

What happens if your horse/s wins the race?

Then that's a winning leg of the wager. You have to run 1st or 2nd in all 9 races to get the carryover jackpot.
