Can Bill W or cj perhaps post a notice in threads that are locked explaining briefly why? Thx.

Many times duplicate threads are posted as was the case regarding the firemen in Tenn. who stood by and watched a house burn to the ground because the owner did not pay the required yearly fee of $75.

Other times the thread simply gets out of hand and/or waaaayy off track.

Exactly. One wag last week started two threads on Zenyatta, one about her 19 th win and the other about her winning 19 times. Thankfully one of the moderators collapsed those into one thread. Probably more should be locked when posters insist on beating a dead horse.

Can Bill W or cj perhaps post a notice in threads that are locked explaining briefly why? Thx.99.9% of the time the reason should be quite obvious. I hope you will agree that the VAST MAJORITY of threads do NOT get locked. Thus, the very, very few that do should be painfully obvious as to why.
