In the third race at Belmont Park, #7 Indian Bob fell, in what appeared to be a very nasty fall. I hope the horse is alright, but it didn't look very good. Jockey Cornelio Velazquez didn't appear to have suffered a serious injury, but you could notice the lack of enthusiasm calling the race, by Tom Durkin right after the accident. Again, I hope it wasn't as bad as I think it is.

I was watching that race, but I missed the actual fall. Tom D. said the horse was in distress. :(

Did you notice how his tone of voice changed completely? He was like completely dead. I'm wondering if it affected him to the extent that he simply quit for the day. Later on, I was watching another replay, but it was the other race caller's voice I heard.
