My Belmont picks for today:
R1 - #1 Arpeggio-comes out of a race that produced two next out winners. Ran poorly last, but never really ran well on slop in the past. Really don’t like the ML fav, think that one is going backwards.
R2 - #6 Audrey Hep-hard to look past this one, raced 4 wide most of the way and still had a good fig. Will play a cold double with the pick in the first.
R3 - #8 Little Smokey-I like Smoke Glacken as a FTS sire, and this trainer has a good win percentage with 1st timers that have low ML odds.
R4 - #5 Lady in the Sun-This one broke it’s maiden at BEL on the grass, will take a shot if the odds are right
R5 – No opinion here
R6 – Will pass this one too, the ML fav will be hard to go against, and too low to bet.
R7 - #9 Budapest Girl- hoping for an easy lead here. Will bet if she goes off at ML odds.
R8 - #4 Reliable Source – Hate the Bailey horse and love this one.
R9 - #8 Indy Five Hundred- Bet this one last time at big odds, like again today. May get a clean trip one of these days.
R10 - #4 Buenas Dias-Ran well in a pretty competitive race last time at MNR. Will bet if odds go off at around ML
