View Full Version : In honor of Rachel-Photo give away

To honor this great filly I will give a 5x7 photo (http://www.flickr.com/photos/easygoer/4826085828/) to (one) winner who can correctly pick the "cold" exacta (1 & 2) for the Joe Hirsch Turf Classic this Saturday, which is the most competitive race of the week, IMO.

RULES:

To keep this legitimate and from getting out of control...I will accept 30 "picks" so after post# 31 (can't count this one as a pick) the selections will not be honored. Also you must have at least 100 posts to qualify for the contest (protect from spamming) and you can only make one exacta selection. In case of a tie or multiple exacta winners...put the final time (utilizing hundredths) after your exacta selection and the winner of the Exacta with the closest Final Time (doesn't matter if its over or under) will win. If no one has the exacta but they have the winner then that in conjunction with the final time will win. The contest starts now and the last "pick" will either be post# 31 or 10am EST, on October 2, 2010, which ever comes sooner. Good Luck.

The Contest is closed....Good Luck. Some entries came after the 10AM eastern time cut off. I will allow them unless there are serious objections from the other contestant-prior to the running of the race :). Once again Good luck. Also for those who put the times in 1/5th's...i'll change them to 1/100ths (ie. 1/5=.20, 2/5=.40, etc) if need be.

On a side note-I was just in Home Depot. Stood in line in front of Jean Luc Samyn. I was wearing my Haskell Hat and he asked if I liked Horse Racing...of course I recognized him and responded ... Ofcourse, Jean Luc. He laughed....which is rare in itself and went on his way. That was my morning.

PS MY Prediction (obviously doesn't count)-Paddy O'Prado over Winchester in 2:31.58
