I can't stand dealing with the NTRA. I almost always have a problem with something they do. I would have run second in the first leg.

What happens now? Can you still play the rest of the races if you got shut out?

I sent them a couple of emails. In the second I said they should cancel the contest since not everyone could participate.

You can still play but only if you can get in. Maybe they will cancel.
I would have had the winner but short price.

Everyone should send in emails telling them to get it right or cancel. The put me on tilt for the day.

Tied for 1st after 1 leg and now can't get in. Sucks.

I can't see how they can continue. I'm sure tons of people are sending complaints in.

So I decided to play the NHC Tour Online contest today sponsored by TVG.

The servers are timing out so I can't even get to the page to enter my picks.

What is the point of having a contest if your servers can't handle the traffic?

F'ing clowns.

Two hours of handicapping time wasted this morning. :bang:

I play on the NTRA/NHC $100 deal.

I've learned to post a set of picks early, then change later if need be.

I have never seen them overloaded before like this - must be the free entry.

I have my picks in, and just missed the 15-1 winner in the 5th at MTH.
Got screwed on the place price.....grrrrrrrr

They better not cancel.........

I was in the first two years. Now I remember why I didn't want anything to do with them this year. Maybe it's just me but I almost always have a bad experience with anything the do.

I have seriously considered joining a time or two, but that is never going to happen after this debacle.

If the #9 would have won the 7th I would have hit the roof.

Even though I did get my picks in early, I would be surprised if they did not cancel. They have been down for pretty long at this point.

If they wait to long to announce a cancellation they're gonna piss off a bunch more people. They'll wait and choose to piss off the most people possible.

I already have. Was O-2 and then had the :1: penciled in to play in the 7th if odds were 10-1 or higher.

Had the chalk in the last race and I have no idea what the leaderboard says (all 3 people that are probably able to play), but at 2/4 with a price horse I am

If I am forced to put my picks in hours before an event, I might as well play the lottery 'cause it sure ain't handicapping.

The whole appeal of the contest is to go race by race so you can check out the odds. The Equibase tournaments have to be handed in all at once.

Have never played Equibase ones and won't based on your info. NHC servers obviously cannot handle the traffic so you would be forced to put in the picks early anyway.

I need Interpretation in the 9th at Belmont to have any shot but I'm pretty sure I'm already out of reach. I did have the 10-1 in the 7th at Belmont.

Thank you NTRA. Seven races in and I had four wins and two seconds. I so wanted to qualify again.....

I'm wasting the time capping even though I am stuck with two plastic tracks and a dirt track that I don't pay any attention to.

I know it is a contest, but will anybody throw me a bone and let me know how speed holds up on the dirt at Hawthorne? How about play on an off-track? (Looks like weather is calling for some showers.)

Made my picks but what a bunch of crummy races to use. Clearly TVG does not want any association with NYRA tracks anymore as there are some competitive fields running there today. Oh well, hope for the best

Well, I am probably out after the first race. Where did the horse come from in the 7th at Kee?

Somewhere out there a few people decided to take a stab and probably will not be able to be caught after one race. - I really don't see any more bombs on the rest of the card. (Of Course, I didn't see the first one.)

Capping was a damn waste of my morning.

Saw a few names I recognized.
If the usernames are the same as here?
PA members put up a very respectable showing.

Yes, that was me. I wasn't credited with the favorite that I got by default in the HOL 7th when my selection scratched. If that is the only scoring irregularity I hope to move up :) .

You're shown as 5th now for some reason. I was wondering if that was you. Hope you draw in. I finished 112.

Thanks Jack.

They posted an update late last night after crediting me with the favorite replacement of my scratched pick (and I assume all other updates). I am now 4th, $2.50 out of the money. This is likely the final standings.

Good job anyway Bill. It looked like a chalk fest to me and that's the way I set it up to play, so that very first race did me in. 4 wins and 3 seconds, but none worth much. My only long play was in the final race and he finished right where his odds said he would.

We're going to be out in Vegas at the time of the finals, so going to take a swing in the last chance tourney.

Nice job Bill. Hopefully, one of the first 3 have already qualified and you will draw in. Play enough contests, and you will get some tough beats.
