Ray,
If you look at the USTA track stats for Indy, the 10-pole (has lesser wins than the 8 & 9.
Not sure if the 10 is second or 1st tier at Indy.

The 11-pole has higher stats (14.7%) for wins than the 8-9-10 and is assuredly 2nd tier. However the 11-pole has only had 35 starters.

Looks like the 1st trailer (the 10) is the same as the 9 this year on Win% 8% and ROI% -20%

Maybe somebody else can verify, however I believe Hoosier is a 7/8's and they would start nine wide there.

While Indy is a mile track and 10 wide is the norm on mile tracks, at least when fields are full.
