I heard they were going to do this as a few experimental full and mixed T-bred QH programs are on for October....Odd the lengths they will go to ....Hope it works.

Interesting. My prediction is that TBs will dominate at 5 furlongs and longer, the QHs at shorter distances.

TBs are terribly inbred from an original gene pool of less than 100 individuals. I've often wondered if another breed without the pedigree limitations of TBs could not be bred to run faster with fewer breakdowns.

They aren't running against one another.

They aren't running against one another.

I think he was trying to lighten up the board on a slow news day.

I hope. http://i56.tinypic.com/2j5kt4w.gif

They aren't running against one another.
In that case it's nothing new. Other tracks have already done it.

It's new for FE. Wondering how it will work out. I believe Ajax runs right into mid-October, which then means the two tracks are competing against one another for horses, for the first half of the month, anyway.

Interesting to see how it works out.
When TB tracks introduce QH racing, it's not usually a good sign.

this was announced long ago......since it was announced they started showing ajax downs at ft erie and transferred a lot of slot machines from ft erie to ajax.....so I am assuming that it will be the ajax horses running at the fort from some sort of a deal.
