I can't recall a .771 in-the-money slugging percentage by the leading jockey at the meet. Insane !

This guy totally ruins the races over there. Its not horse racing, its jockey racing. No thanks.

With over eight times as many mounts, Ramon Dominguez was pretty close at the Big A in 2010.....

So I'm clear; you believe a jockey ruins a meet?

This jockey is so dominant that he turns the races into jockey racing. Normally, i like to handicap horses and not worry about the human aspect of things....id like to think that all the top jocks and trainers 'even out' and it comes down to the horses. With this guy, he turns the races into 'are you betting ON martin or against him". I don't prefer to handicap that way.

I get that feeling at aqueduct with Ramon dominguez.

But that's part of racing. If you wanted the best chance to win, why wouldn't you want him on your horse?

as an owner, you want him. As a bettor, you dont want him. Problem is, he wins every race...so, most of the races at FPX are being won by horses who are 'bad bets' . he's overbet, but he wins on so many overbet ones, there's nothing you can do. Im sure that if you pass a million races, you can find one race a week that pedroza is riding a nag at 4-5 and bet against him. I like to bet more than one race a week, so i dont want to waste hours and hours per card to find one play against Pedroza, its not worth it.

An even more shocking stat http://i54.tinypic.com/24d3tl2.gif is that Tyler Kaplan has already won two races on that bullring.

These type of dominitations probably indicate the uncompetitive nature of the cards at these tracks, however, on saying that, you can use the domination to your advantage should you so wish to.

Like i said earlier in this thread, you COULD just sit on your hands until that one bad mount Pedroza takes is 4-5 and you know he's no good. If you don't mind doing hours of work handicapping FPX so that you can bet the 2-1 second choice against Pedroza when he's 4-5 on a bad horse, than more power to you. That's not for me. I like to bet lots of races, i don't want to cap an entire fpx card and wait for a 'juicy' 2-1 shot to beat the 4-5 Pedroza....there is much better value out there.

Sorry you don't have the patience to wait for the right days. From what i can see in the last two days you could have had some good hits at fair prices betting against.

Interesting Fairplex with it's short fields, fav winning at 49% is attracting more $$$ from Horsesplayers than Retama Park with decent fields, 12% take on DD and P3.

Suggests some like nothing better than the fav banging in on a regular basis

Which proves that Mr. Finley is correct. http://i52.tinypic.com/rvj3q0.gif

Most horse players are stupid and want to go down with the sinking ship.
