Just post the name of the horse...you are showing great enthusiasm this far ahead of time. i think zenyatta has a big shot if she trains well going into the race. it really depends upon what the plans are for her even if she ever runs in it. she will have to be doing better than ever for those guys to even enter her for the race.

The song remains the same. And it's Zenyatta with a rush. She's picken up and layin' them down. She's run a mile and a quarter in a blistering 1:57 and 4

I'd take Blame right now, but I'm anxious to see Rail Trip on dirt and noticed that Zenyatta is doing better in the morning lately. So it's possible they are starting to crank her up.

Zenyatta...with condescending ease. :)

Is Rachel running in this race and if so is she running OTE.??

Blame

He likes the track, and I am assuming there is a full field with a legitimate pace.

However, I will be watching workouts prior to the race as a key indicator.

Should Zenyatta, or several other potential entries, look like they are sitting on a huge race, my allegiance will be swayed.

Right now, though, it's Blame.

I'd like to see Blame win it, but I'd pick Zenyatta at this point.

Zenyatta:jump:
But it's way too soon to get serious about who's gonna win the Classic...fun to speculate, though:)

Zenyatta strides 3 lengths clear as they come past the 1/8th pole, and Zenyatta just putting on an exhibition for us today, Zenyatta the daughter of Street Cry just gonna totally destroy the field in the Breeders Cup Clasic, she wins by half a dozen.

This would be the largest winning margin of her career, no?

I think Blame looks best right now... We'll see how he handles 10f in a few weeks!

Lookin as Lucky had a slight illness and just recently started working again. He has worked 2 half miles so far. He is know guarentee to make the Classic. I can't see Baffert running Lookin at Lucky in the Classic with possibly no prep having to face the likes of Zenyatta, Blame, Quality Road and mayby a Euro or two. He's gonna be a real nice 4yo.

Yeah, I was worried that he might be gassed from the tough campaign...appears that way. If he's not going to the BCC they should put him away for the year, unless they have the Clark or Cigar Mile on their minds. Thanks for the info.

Just post the name of the horse...

It's still early, and the competition is never easy, but I'd go with Blame right now. He looks like a very serious contender to me.

From The Thoroughbred Times Sept. 14:

Baffert said he has a plan in mind to get Lookin At Lucky ready for the Breeders’ Cup Classic (G1), but he declined to reveal a potential prep race.

Do you think Afleet Express would run ? He gets better every race.

Wouldn't it be better to wait until the field is set?

Afleet Express will be there. That's the plan. He'll be there, unless the JCGC doesn't go well for him.

Just my opinion but as of right now I believe the Classic comes down to Zenyatta and Blame. I just dont't think anyone else is close to these 2 especially at 1-1/4. Blame is a nice horse but I think Zenyatta racks up back to back Classics.

They know exactly what they're doing with her. If he can keep her in G1 shape/fitness for the big dance, it will go down as one of the greatest training feats ever.
