From my friend:
I saw this coyote dead on the side of the road about 4 weeks ago. Last week I saw the Nevada DOT striping truck doing work in the same area and the pictures illustrate the final work I noticed this week. Someone needs to buy the NDOT guys a beer, this is classic. The coyote couldn't have landed in a better spot after it got hit.
On Alternate Highway 50 in Fernley.

Hmm? If I read that right, a coyote dead for over three weeks wouldn't be that preserved.

I'll find out more about this picture. It was sent from a friend of mine but she did not say that she actually took it. You guys are certainly right... that coyote has not been dead for three weeks.

Have not seen a Roadrunner cartoon in years. Now I know why my life has felt so empty lately. :(
