Watching the Sackatoga Stables win the Derby and Preakness was a big part of all the Enjoyment I got from the seasons racing Campaign.

Sackatoga should take its proceeds and buy a Promising Young Yearling. Preferably, A well bred male. Then they should NAME the horse with a "Funny Name" so that the Spirit of Funnycide will live on in the Proceeds he generated by Being a WINNER.

I did a Search at the Jockey Club of Recently released names and this is whats avaiable for them if they want a "Funny" sire line to develop. In name and in spirit, as FC , as we all know is Gelded.

Being honest, they may not have to. A study shows that it may be possible to breed with geldings by injecting cells or something complicated. Who knows, maybe Funny Cide'll be a leading sire someday?

Now that would be pretty cool if they were/are able to reverse the gelding process. Gotta keep an eye/ear out for a sibling of Funny Cide. Who knows perhaps next year will be the year that we shall see a TC winner, for which only time will tell.
