I purchased the $36 offer from the DRF; downloaded and printed the PP. So now I can play with some angles using the PP as a data base.

This is the result using a "favorites" spot play angle from PRN.

Bets: 37
Won: 22
Win %: 59.5
$ Won: 110.8 ($2 bets)
$ Net: 36.8
ROI %: 49.7

Are these results worthwhile to follow and expand on? I'm sure with some tweaking, I can improve the Win % and the ROI.

The big 'but" here is this was for the just concluded Saratoga meet. Will these results carryover to the Belmont meet and then Aquduct? Other tracks-I don't know?

Research is time consuming, especially if you manually input data into a spread sheet.

I assume you are talking about the betting favorite. The just completed Saratoga meet had an extremely high favorite win rate, 45% vs. 33% for last year. I wouldn't count on it continuing.

% of winning favorites is not a worthwhile study to me. Not relevant in finding todays winner. Forget about picking winners and instead focus on finding overlays
