That is hilarious to watch. Near the end of the video it shows the people in the crowd, most not even paying attention to her. Fast forward a few years and now people can not stop paying attention to her :)

Awesome find Joanie!

She was smart from babyhood--her ears wheeling around, continuously moving, they're perked straight up when not wheeling. LOL Not to even mention the whinnying.

Now and then, one will walk into the ring and whinny, a bit nervous, but its unusual for a filly to be this vocal in the ring, this curious and sassy.

The wallflower that had to be heard to be seen--she turned into the star that is seen and heard all over.

Life can be funny that way sometime, in horses and in humans.

Someone "in the back" declined $65k...man are they wanting to shoot themselves now.

Amazing...I love these stories of "low-priced" horses going on to make millions with the right care and attention. Certainly makes wonder why people still pay millions for yearlings that never make it to the track or past allowances (ehmm...A.P. Indy colt United States still racing in allowances cost $2m at the keeneland sale a few years ago).

Awesome find Joanie!

Dean T...the credit for this awesome find has to go to jognlope :) ...

it is awesome though... she was a gorgeous yearling...and I adore vocal horses...love it when my own horses talk to me...I wonder what she 'tuned into' that made her whinny so much...I just loved that video...
thanks for posting it, jog:ThmbUp:

I think maybe at least one reason for her selling so low was her size...they looked at her, figured her size meant you'd have to go slow with her, and the majority of buyers want that quick return...
the right people did end up with her, though!!

At the end of the video it sounds like the Auctioneer said Rick Dale $60.000

She's licking her lips at the end, showing she's a quick study. She's adorable.

The Mosses have gone on record saying they were prepared to go substantially higher than $60k. So the $65k buyer probably wouldn't have mattered.

Thanks for this video, this is way cool to see!
