Excerpt:

Obama is desperately urging consumers and investors to have confidence in his understanding of economics. They may, however, remember his characteristic certitude that "cash for clunkers" was "successful beyond anybody's imagination."

He's right. He has a very good grasp on economics -- the Marxist kind. He knows exactly how to lead ignorant, naive and uninformed Americans down the road to Marxism. He is, after all our Pied Piper-in-Chief.

By the way, he's still in the biz of hedging bets. He also said very recently that we should not expect high unemployment numbers to end soon (so much for the great results for all these stimulus packages). Don't you just love this guy's optimistic, positive, encouraging, uplifting, edifying, upbeat message? Someone needs to contrast this guy with Reagan's messages.

In George Wills column today, he points our that by taking so many used cars off the road, Odummy has caused a 10% rise in the prices, making it more difficult for lower income families to be able to afford them.

Nice.

I have been looking for a "winter car" for the wife so she can put her BMW away for the winter....... Used SUV prices are way more than they used to be.

The majority of Americans know exactly how we have gotten to this point, and they understand how they screwed up. Although few will publicly admit to it or like talking politics because of making admissions they feel ugly. However I do feel the majority will correct the error of their ways in November because they fully understand that they are at a very important crossroads. There are people who just can not be pleased period, these are called road apples and we all know a few.
