Do I have the Farran books- nope , lost mine years ago. But-

I did attend a Farran Seminar in NYC for the Miracle System of Thoroughbred Handicapping and Thoroughbred Handicapping- A Textbook. I remember he was a heavy smoker, from the LA area, and had his daughter prepare the study guides and race examples.
The work he did, before the personal computer, is impressive. Of course checking for errors was also a laborious process, and something few users tried.

Reviewing from a 1974 L.G. Holloway/Systems & Methods article about Farran's products-and recalling what I can from his seminar:

From race charts Farran used last race purse for class qualifiers. He calculated PV (Purse Value) and TV (Track Value) for further qualifications. Looking for a 20% edge in a selection.
He further qualified selections on early speed. Within 2 lengths at first call calculated from running time of recent qualifed race.

He advised betting 1/20th of bank on each play to place. Option to bet 1/10 of bank was mentioned.

His discoveries are not without merit, and can be used to profit at some tracks still today.

I doubt it, I believe Farran has since departed. The address was from the Systems & Methods article.

I just found 2 Farran books in my old pile :

Thoroughbred Handicapping - A textbook...1975
The Point Method of Handicapping...1986

There wasnt an address listed on either and honestly neither are worth your time, even for mid 70's to mid 80's, the info is kind of lame. Hope that saves you some time and money. rbj

Mr. Farran lived in Las Vegas the last few years of his life. He passed on in 1992.
