The Hoover Dam was constructed and put many a man to work. Along our border with Mexico (all of it) we could build a mother of all prisons tall and long and Federal 100 feet from the border. Release illegals on the south side of it on US soil and forget about them. And close down all Federal Prisons in every state period. Nutty idea right? nothing nutty about this. let's invest in building a real barrier, hire people to patrol the border and solve this once and for all. But since we have to give tax breaks to rich people, it's never going to happen. good idea though

The amount of real estate across this country in federal prisons covers allot of ground, you could also put the mother of all military training facility along the border as well, using men training to capture the enemy.

How about hiring the current crop of illegals to patrol the border? Pay them well, but tell them if any more get through, it's coming out of their pocket. Then let's see how many get across.

And I don't see any justification for complaints from the Left on this. We'd just be following in the footsteps or that enlightened, progressive communist island to the south of us who did the same thing to us. Isn't the U.S. supposed to humble herself and follow the lead of these kinds of countries? :D
