Doesn’t the “1% NYCOTB takeout increase” law sunset on September 15, 2010, with lower takeout ranges? Or am I missing something?
It appears that the new NYRA takeout rates allowed by statute will be 12-17% for regular bets (WPS), 14-21% for multiple bets (exactas and DD), 15-25% for exotics (P3, P4, tri and super) and 15-36% for super exotics (P6) regardless of whether there is a carryover or not. The breakage will remain the same.
I have not seen or heard anything about it, just wondering if anybody has seen or heard anything.
