Back to the original post. I will say this that GWB has been a better former president than he was a president. From what I have observed that is almost always true. Former VPs, on the other hand, are different story.

Good point RG, and to me it seems former presidents are more well-liked is because they actually are just being themselves, without all those bs advisors telling them what they should do, think, etc. Gerald Ford is the only guy I ever thought was a "regular joe" both in and out of office.
