I would prefer that the car was from an American manufacturer but should I ever see it on the road I will buy the driver some ammo.

Granted it's not Ford, GM, or Chrysler, but Toyota started manufacturing Priuses at its U. S. facilities in 2008.

GM is a socialist company - boycott GM.
It was stolen and given to a communist and a union.

The American Big 3 - Honda, Toyotta, Ford.

GM built tanks and other military vehicles during WW2 that were instrumental in our victory.

GM is not a socialist company.

which reminds me (re:LOL)....is this happening anywhere else? >> When you see an Obama bumper sticker, you point and laugh at the driver. I've seen that quite a bit here, started doing it myself.

You'll get one of two reactions- Shame (pouting, staring straight ahead after eye contact), or Embarrassment (looking away, w/ the same look on his face a football fan gives when his team is down 55-3 midway thru the 2nd quarter)

Toyota recieved so much money from the state of Alabama to locate their plant there that should rename the Prius the Bear.

Boxcar

A shrinking percent of GM retirees were active employees during the WW2 era. GM was there when the nation needed their help.

In 2008 G W Bush bailed out GM and Chrysler. His administration also bailed out the banking system. GM and their retirees earned such a consideration.

GM will ultimately pay back the government and progress to a vibrant company financially competitive with the Toyota's and Honda's of the world. Stick that Prius where the sun don't shine.

Bush's actions helped prevent a major economic meltdown. As difficult as times are now, they would have been much worse without his quick actions.

After Bush left office, Obama gave needed followup support to GM.

Today the american car manufacturers are already competing and winning the quality awards.

Psst... can ya hear it.
Buy a Chevrolet and see the USA.

I agree, and I'm not just being a biased sales manager. These products are so much better than some people want to believe. Proud to sell Fords, the one who did not need the bailout.

Regarding the Prius, I thought they were all owned by left-wing, tree hugging Al Gore wannabes.

Sure 'nuff the pious Prius owners proudly displayed their care for Mother Earth. Darn shame it's been proven the production of the Prius is more unfriendly to ME than a Hummer.

Confused eco egos run amok as usual.

I actually like the Prius. What I do not like is the hefty premium over conventional cars that you must cough up. Even worse is that these things are widely considered to be strictly Libmobiles.
