Opener is confusing but appears a contest between :3: :6: chasing :1: and :2:

No bet in R1 although the :1: runs well with Ramon up and may finish well on the cutback, but no one to go with the chalk early....so pass.

Gonna try to beat :7: Roderick in R2 with the :1: and :4: . Anticipate a speed duel btw Roderick and the Rudy Rod claim# :3: . The :1: closed nicely vs a very slow pace in last with traffic trouble.

Agree that unless the track is playing very very early, that Roderick will have trouble with these two later....May be alone on the lead however as the :3: doesn't seem to have enough to go with that one for long, if at all.

Thanks Zilly.

I was hoping for a speed duel and boy did I get one. Hit a $5 win bet and $2 ex.

Race 3 is tough but something tells me that Pletcher (#5) will hit hard on the drop and cutback....puzzler.

Everyone's figs are top heavy in this race (i.e.105-98 Quirin style)so I'll take the 5 who should be off the pace here and has actually shown a closing kick in the past.

Am I really going to bet a five horse field?
Am I going to bite on Pletcher again?

Yes and Yes.

George Weaver is simply the most overlaid trainer at Saratoga over the last 5yrs or so....runs 2nd at 40-1.

How does that old song go...?

"Oooooooh George Weava' I believe you can get me through the me-eeeeet."

Agreed...wide open. Using the :7: a lot and the :3: a little. Under the :2: :8: :11: . Don't know what to expect from the :5: .

Bernard Baruch many of these are in and outers......especially the favorite :5: that shows only ONE line that puts it here, but is the earliest of these which leaves the :1: :2: and :6:

The odds on the two and six are tempting
