If you're investing 2 grand (even on a pen and paper exercise), why only have it be 1 ticket?

BOL either way

learning how to do them really (although I get the concept my playing was 90% WPS).

I've heard of the 'A' 'B' 'C' ticket concept, but haven't given it a roll yet. Thought about doing an extra $80 with a 'B' but ended up not doing it.

I'll learn from the board - that is why I come here, to learn and chat.

I'm no pro at it, either, I mostly only use that method intensively for Pick 4's, b/c I can afford to play those on my own.

P6's I have to go in with others to do it. Steve Crist's blog is a great place to sift through and see how he constructs tickets.

BTW - - I will have a rather large A/B/C ticket matrix Saturday for the Travers P4 as it has a 1,000,000 gtd. pool

Got to believe that MANY tickets will single the 1 in the 8th.
I handicapped the race and think the 1 is vulnerable.
And this being the graveyard for favorites, if the 1 loses, I'm guessing we WILL have a Pick 6 carryover tomorrow that will be HUGE.
So I'm rooting against the 1 in the 8th.

I had 1/2 on my first go around, but had to make some cuts.

I ended up cutting the 4 from the 4th (didn't hurt), the 4 from the 7th (wait and see) and the 2 from the 8th.

Race 9 # 2 Praviana
Found a bunch of trouble last out. Has speed to get good position here.
If 6/1 solid play for me.

If you are interested in learning about the multi ticket approach, Steve Crist's book Exotic Betting is a must have. It's a fun read and I still go back and read parts of it a few times a year.

Did you play this ticket or did you just post it - either way good handicapping. I looked at your ticket and played it, but I got cheap and started saving money - now I am starting to regret that decision as I trimmed it too much.

No favorites yet and I'm alive through 4.

I assume your trim included that 6 horse in the 7th?

The 10 got pounded more than I thought.

I took out the 4 in the 5th and the 6 in the 7th - stupid. I'm done. Unreal - I played the rest of it. I also bought the two in the upcoming leg as I feel Ibboyee is vulnerable.

I have a feeling you might not be sleeping well tonight. I think if your ticket hits - your looking at 100-115k - maybe more.

Never quite understood the people who get shut out and then root for a loss.

Well, I understand it, but I'd still rather my handicapping be correct.

Maybe people will pitch in for a syndicate next time, lol.

Sorry if you miss out however, I can understand covering the 2 in this race for sure.

Normally - I would agree with you. But for a score that size, I'm glad that the 2 just beat you. You'll sleep better tonight.
