Coupled Favorite win %

What is the win % for coupled favorites? Do they win more than non-coupled favorites? Thanks!!

The reason i'm asking is I seem to remember a lot of coupled favorites where the better horse fades badly.

ANother question to add to this is how often do entries run 1-2? You see it every now and then, and the place payoff is usually bigger than the win payoff.
