Today the chairman of NYRA declared that the racetracks, Aqueduct, Belmont and Saratoga are the property of NYRA, not the State of NY...this ought to be a great legal fight...

the state attorney general is declaring that the tracks are the property of NYS and they can take them overif NYRA is indicted.

Anyone who can convince America that a name tag on a pair of jeans adds an $80 premium to their value will outwit Albany!

My washing machine is the world's best appraiser of jeans, and the designer labels grade out the worst. Most have front pockets made from something flimsier than cheesecloth, often glued rather than stitched, and they are always tagged as "Made In <some remote child-labor sweatshop>."
