Unfortunately it won't be until 2013 that we are able to undo the damage BHO and the lapdog Congress has done. If the midterms go as expected, get ready to see a slew of vetoes in 2011 and 2012 as BHO becomes a one man "party of no".

you gotta remember that Congress has the real power and they are the ones that started this mess of an economy we are in. If you don't think Barney and Maxine ignoring Fannie and Freddie and such is the greatest crime ever perpetrated on the American People, you are missing the true causes of our beleaguered economy. You can even tie in repeal of Glass Stegall under Clinton and toss some of that blame on the Repub Congress in the 90's.

Congress is the greatest threat to our country and mixing in activist judges just puts the flame to the cauldron. And Taxpayers are being cooked.

Very nice. Ignore the first picture if you don't like to see Bush doing anything and focus on the other 13 pictures. Then ask yourself: does my state do as much as Texas for our service people? If not, work on making changes.

Be proud Texans.

Why Obuma is nothing like George W. Bush:

* George W. Bush didn’t blame his predecessor for his own failures.
* George W. Bush can throw a pitch.
* George W. Bush believes in American exceptionalism.
* George W. Bush showed respect and courtesy to the opposite party while President.
* George W. Bush doesn’t whine.
* George W. Bush went out and did the things that he said that he’d do.
* George W. Bush has a thick skin.
* George W. Bush doesn’t give a… flying leap… what the polls say.
* George W. Bush could make, and take responsibility for, tough decisions.
* George W. Bush didn’t take credit for other people’s work.
* George W. Bush never had to remind anyone that he won.
* George W. Bush had principles.
* George W. Bush defended them.

And last, but certainly not least:

* George W. Bush doesn’t bow.

I'm glad to see that you have the decency to sometimes admit when you have been ignorant. There might be some hope for you yet. The lesson to be learned is that you actually should do some research before you go around using words like "bull". By not being lazy, you can avoid looking less like a fool.

However in order to fully redeem yourself, you should be honest about your comparisons. The man next to Bush is Putin. Other photos of that day show that all of the G8 leaders wore that costume. It was an event to be proud of and covered by all the media. Bush's love and loyalty to the USA has never been in question.

In contrast, the photo I posted was leaked by the Clinton campaign. Like almost everything else from his past, a tremendous effort was made to hide details of this event. There was no media coverage. Obama didn't want you to know about this day.

Who were the dignataries that Obama was meeting with? What kind of official U.S. business was he on?
Take your time doing some research on this one as we wouldn't want you to look like a fool again.

Ok, your turn to admit bush kissing and holding hands with the Saudi sheik is much more embarrassing than ceremonial bows to heads of state.

Wouldn't you be willing to kiss and hold hands with the man that was instrumental in preventing Saddam's assassination of your father? How could he not have deep feelings for the guy?

Besides, you libs love gay marriage and toadying up to the Muslims, so how could this not be one of the highlights of the Bush presidency as far as you are concerned? Is it the fact that he is the one doing the action instead of being the receiver or is it that his hand is the one on top showing that he is the dominant one in the relationship? I guess the only way he would have scored points with you is if he was the submissive one like Obuma.

To be honest, the kissing photo does disgust me and his advisers must have told him he looked like an ass, since he never did it again. In contrast, Obuma has done the bow at least five times despite undoubtedly being advised he looks like an unpresidential wimp. Bush has self control and the other clearly does not. You can add that to the list that I pasted.

Speaking of the list, you've done a pretty pathetic job of arguing against its merits. The only one of the 14 that you've tried to refute is that Bush doesn't bow and to dispute that claim you've presented a photo of Bush looking down at his chest as he receives his medal.

Since you've said nothing, I take it you agree that:
* George W. Bush didn’t blame his predecessor for his own failures.
* George W. Bush believes in American exceptionalism.
* George W. Bush showed respect and courtesy to the opposite party while President.
* George W. Bush doesn’t whine.
* George W. Bush has a thick skin.
* George W. Bush didn’t take credit for other people’s work.
* George W. Bush never had to remind anyone that he won.

P.S. That spin at the top about the Saudi prince being instrumental in preventing Bush Sr.'s assasination: I pulled that one out of my ass just like you did when you claimed that Obuma was wearing the Muslim garb because he was on a trip representing America. 22 hours have gone by and you have not told us anything about who he met and what was his agenda.

Angle of bow? How about whether or not bush and the Sheik are frenching. How about degree of tongue penetration? Is that an accurate gage of say an alternate sexual orientation, like angle of bowing is of subservience?? Or maybe we can measure the sweatyness on bushs' palm and determine exactly how stimulated he is while strollin' down the Royal palace path with his overly affectionate Arab pal
Once informed of its accuracy, only a liar would make up an excuse when he had no evidence to support the claim.
Hey bub, you still have no legitimate explanation for bush frenching? his Arab friend. I'm going to assume that you meant U.S. president and that the mistake comes from you being as ignorant about acronyms as you are about politcs, sex and pop culture.

Here is a brief snapshot of the previous 3 Democrat presidents:

Carter would do whatever it took to secure a peace treaty and the '70s media was always discreet about not showing what went on below the waist. In the '90s, they would show clothed erect penises but they would never follow Bill into what would later be known as Monica's room.

acronym (plural acronyms (http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/acronyms))

An abbreviation (http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/abbreviation) formed by (usually initial) letters (http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/letters) taken from a word or series of words, and which is itself pronounced as a word, such as RAM (http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/RAM), radar (http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/radar), or scuba (http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/scuba); sometimes contrasted with initialism (http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/initialism).

Your definition of acronym.....
An abbreviation formed by (usually initial) letters taken from a word or series of words, and which is itself pronounced as a wordSo you pronounce U.S.as us? it is pronounced U pause, S.
Abbreviations are pronounced usually in english by each letter enunciated.

U pause S pause A.
F pause B pause I.
C pause I pause A

Acronyms like radar are said as radar, not r.a.d.a.r.

You refuse to admit a president mouth kissing(and none of your examples are in the ballpark. Johnson kissing his father??? :D ) is not more embarrassing than bowing?

An abbreviation (http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/abbreviation) formed by (usually initial) letters (http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/letters) taken from a word or series of words, and which is itself pronounced as a word, such as RAM (http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/RAM), radar (http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/radar), or scuba (http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/scuba); sometimes contrasted with initialism (http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/initialism).
A pronounceable word formed from the beginnings (letter or syllable) of other words and thus representing the phrase so formed, e.g. Benelux = the countries Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg considered as a political or economic whole.
Any abbreviation so formed, regardless of pronunciation, such as TNT (http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/TNT), IBM (http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/IBM), or XML (http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/XML).

BTW, you pointed out on this dumb tangent I misspelled US. As though spelling decides the bowing issue. You misspelled politics. So?

Last time I detour into your dumb ass pulling

Usage is important.

1. An abbreviation formed by (usually initial) letters taken from a word or series of words, and which is itself pronounced as a word, such as RAM, radar, or scuba; sometimes contrasted with initialism.
2. A pronounceable word formed from the beginnings (letter or syllable) of other words and thus representing the phrase so formed, e.g. Benelux = the countries Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg considered as a political or economic whole.
3. Any abbreviation so formed, regardless of pronunciation, such as TNT, IBM, or XML.

acronym
Usage notes

* The original definition[1] was "term for words made from the initial letters or syllables of other words", indicating that it should be pronounceable as a word, e.g. snafu, comsat.
* The third sense is often criticized by commentators who prefer the term initialism for abbreviations that are not pronounced like an ordinary word.

initialism (plural initialisms)

1. A term formed from the initial letter or letters of several words or parts of words, but which is itself pronounced letter by letter.

BBC is an initialism for British Broadcasting Corporation.

What a surprise that you didn't do the decent thing and admit that you were wrong about the definition of acronyms. It fits the total lack of character you have displayed throughout this thread. Anybody who cared to verify that you are being a weasel, just has to go to Google and type in "Acronym, definition" and see that "U.S." qualifies on page after page after page.

The fact that there are some "commentators" that don't like it is meaningless. English is constantly evolving and 30 years ago, I'm sure there were some "commentators" that hated the fact that a computer pointing device was being called a mouse when the word in their eyes should be reserved for rodents.

I guess it would have been too much for you to admit that you were wrong again, since your previous arguments have been consistently in error or fabricated and there are only so many times in one thread that you can come clean that you've been a liar or idiot: ("the photo is a fake", "it's real but he was representing America", "ok, the photo was from before he was elected but it was just a photo op"; "geez the photo was leaked so I better drop this issue";"I don't care if Bush is gay","kissing a guy is outdoing all presidents in embarrassment level","he's the only president that mouth kissed a guy").

If this thread is close to being representative of your previous 6200+ posts, I pity the members who have suffered from reading a high percentage of them.

And Obama's accomplishments are?? A Nobel Prize? Continuation of running the economy into the ground? Job creation? The Gulf of Mexico Oil clean up?
The creation of a deficit that grandchildren will be paying for?
Immigration? NASA?
C'mon hcap, both Bush and Obama are tragedies.
Just when it couldn't get worse it did.

When Bush and the Republicans in Congress were running the show, the USA employment situation was a virtual paradise. Things started to turn to crap when morons bought into the left wing propaganda machine and voted the Democrats into the House and Senate. Crap really hit the fan in mid 2008 when employers realized that Obuma and the Democraps would have total authority. The good news is that in less than three months some of this nightmare will be over.

Great idea. Can we bet, too?! We'll need an independent third party to verify the final result -- win, lose or draw. The judge's ruling is final.

I know I cleaned Hcap's ass. It wasn't me that was pulling a Roberto Duran "No más" ("end of debate", "Sayonara"). I didn't need an arm in the air from PA to feel good about my win but of course recognition from your peers always is nice.

Hcap doesn't deserve to feel good about this thread. He was caught in multiple lies and conducted very sloppy research. The fact that he said there was nothing wrong about being gay but "kissing a guy is outdoing all presidents in embarrassment level" is so unbelievably pathetic in the area of logic.

You get 1 point for the photo op.That's it. You won that one battle only and lost the war of the most embarrassing U.S. president EVER.

Oh,' so this isn't the "end of the debate" and you didn't really mean "sayonara". I'm not surprised. Honesty has never been your forte. I am happy to keep using you as a punching bag.

Thanks for posting the photo of Bush and the finger. It brings back memories of one of my favorite Youtube videos of all time. The orginal was set to the song Rawhide before a humiliated liberal whined about copyright:
WMvt7aye7K8

Way back in response #14, I pasted a list of fourteen qualities that Bush showed that were favorable compared to Obuma. The only one you wanted to talk about was the bowing.

Since you got to cherry pick which one you wanted to debate, it obviously must have been your strongest argument. I was happy to play on your turf.

Your attempt to show that Bush also repeatedly bowed was beyond laughable, as you presented as evidence nodding at the pope and most pathetically looking down at a medal being presented to him. Do you think anybody with a brain would say you were convincing?

Let's pick another item from the list:
- George W. Bush showed respect and courtesy to the opposite party while President.

Would you concede that the low life currently in office compares very unfavorably in this area? Or would you like to make another fool of yourself?

I chose your main talking point out of a list you certainly did not author. Just regurgitate. You could have put quotation marks around your dumb list, but you didn't. You could have provided a link. But you didn't. You tried to pass it off as your own cute set of criticisms

http://www.redstate.com/moe_lane/2010/08/12/agreed-gibbs-obama-is-not-bush/

"So we at RedState have put together a list - a non-exhaustive list - explaining just how the two are different.

Why the President is nothing like George W. Bush."
.................................................. ....................................

And last, but certainly not least:

* George W. Bush doesn’t bow.

So you think you won?
So be it. Sleep on

Wrong again. Your laziness and stupidity is the reason you lost this debate. In two different posts, I used the phrase "list that I pasted". I guess you think that pasted only means working with glue.:D

I didn't provide a link because I encountered this list in readers comments in two different locations and I had no idea who was the original author. Like the Obuma garb photo, you could have seen this list before if you didn't spend all of your time being brain washed into a becoming a left zombie. The wording wasn't mine but the sentiments are 100% and I am willing to defend each point.

Since you are insisting on footnotes and I agree people should get credit for their work, I tracked down the original author and it was Moe Lane from the site Red State:

I find it not embarrassing at all that someone does something dumb when they think they are in privacy. At least when he did that, he was looking us in the eye. When Barry bows, he is looking them in the crotch! Ooooooo.

Or how about Bumbling Joe Biden and his Big F-ing Deal comment?
Which was more an embarrassment, him saying it or him know knowing what a microphone is?
