This gentleman, a fine and a fine generational horseman. He owned Vessels Stallion Station. Loved thoroughbred and quarters.

Sad to learn this, a great loss for California racing. He leaves a wife and four daughters.

I read the story this morning...a great tragedy, very sad. My heart goes out to his family and friends.

The owner of Vessels in San Diego county, has died in an accident.

More about him and his involvement with the industry in this SD Union-Tribune (http://www.signonsandiego.com/news/2010/aug/13/horse-breeder-58-loved-competition/) article.

Was he the pilot? An Aero Commander is a hell of a nice plane, but needs some serious ground to land on ............ just wondering who was doing the flying?
