bloodhorse reporting RA worked 6Fthis morning at saratoga's oklahoma training track with shaun bridgmohan in the irons.

anybody heard why asmussen uses shaun to work this filly when borel is there in saratoga ?

That's what Asmussen wants. Same thing in Lou. before they moved up to Saratoga. Borel was right there, but Asmussen prefers to use others to work her.

after her first 2 loses this year, bridgmohan worked her at churchill and i thought calvin was getting the boot, but it didn't go that way obviously.

i just wonder why he uses this approach.

He seems to have trouble getting a lot of mounts at Saratoga. It surprised me that he went back there this year, he described it as a very rough time last year due to the lack of activity. He has none tomorrow, one Thursday and three Friday. Compare to Churchill where I think he rode 6-8 a day.

he's in the same boat as most top riders from other circuits who try saratoga like albarado etc. as far as race mounts but that really doesn't answer why he wouldn't be used to "work"this filly .

at 6 am ????? no, this is what they do. borel never works her. just wonder why ?
