I rarely if ever play the Pic6, and if I do, it is a very small ticket.
Today at DelMar I played a $12 Pic6.

R3 1,2
R4 5
R5 5
R6 2,3,9
R7 4
R8 11

I ended up collecting 5 of 6 ($340).
Had the winner of Race 7, but was DQ'ed.
Interesting call, a definite foul in that contact was made, but just as definitely did not affect the order of finish.
So while I am stinging a little bit from collecting $340 as opposed to what would have been around $48k, I try to be philosphical.
I am probably questioning the DQ because of the financial impact on me. So I guess maybe I should just look at it as handicapping lesson number 4,598,734 and add it to the long list of reasons to never single a 3-5 shot.
Nothing a couple of shots of Absolut can't handle.

Damn, terrible brain fart.
If the 4 had been left up in race 7, the P6 pays nowhere near what it did with the higher priced runner that was put up.
Disregard my earlier musings, I feel much better knowing that it probably cost me less than 10k.

MV,

Of course that would depend on which thread you were posting in. :D
