Being a Cub fan I was watching that play on TV back in 1976. Ironic how the Dodgers ended up trading for him, I believe within the next year.

Two thoughts struck me after watching the video:
1. Those punks were lucky LaSorda didn't get to them before Rick did! I'm
certain that Tommy probably would have laid them out.
2. That in a moment of abject disrespect, hatred and cowardice, one brave
soul acts, without a second thought, for the good of all.

Thank you DAD, for the video and thank you for reminding me where I come from.
