Title refers to the railroad /trunk line. On Turner Classic Movies, now, will probably repeat a few times this week. Great scenes of New Orleans and Saratoga, esp. that old hotel in Saratoga, doesn't exist anymore though. Gary Cooper, Ingrid Bergman!

"Ingrid Berman and Gary Cooper meet up in the Big Easy. Both of them make their separate ways to Saratoga, Cooper still has his score to settle and Bergman wants to snag a wealthy husband."

Cooper is a gambling man, cowboy. Interesting to see how Saratoga was back in that era, back in the railroad baron days, and that big hotel with the veranda. Similar to how Hot Springs Arkansas was, with the hot springs and bathhouse and all the rich and famous visiting there. And the beautiful houses in New Orleans, part of the movie placed in some of those gorgeous neighborhoods was most captivating. Life 100 years ago, very different from today, I've been to all 3 towns many times in our time, and of course they are all a shadow of what they once were, cmpared to back in the 1890s when playgrounds of rich and famous, we still like to romanticize them though which is why this is everone's favorite nostalgic film. :)

Catch it if you can this week.
