What are you going to do Beachbabe? :)

I know that the #2 was much the Best in the last race, however, I can't believe that he didn't get taken down when he cleaned out that #7 while entering the stretch. Well, on to the next one.. :)

I hope that you string a few nice ones together today.

Have a great weekend.

Thanx Vin; you too; yeah the 2 knocked the 7 sideways & prolly shoulda come down. The 7 wasn't going to win it with a clean trip however.

Late Pick 4:
2,8/ 3,7/ 3,6/ 5,7

race 8:
#3 Solitaire won this race last year & beat Perfect Shower on the square in last at Woodbine in his firts race off a long layoff
#6 Lignon's Hero came back running after a disaterous trip to Dubai; has gone this distance a number of times

race 9:
#5 Irish Lady has the turf breeding to get it done; working on 'Toga's turf.
#7 Make Mine Chocolate got beat a 1/2 after a terrible break at the start against similar; should be favored here.

Nice call.
When I went through the scratches early, I thought the 1a was scratched & crossed her off; now I see it was the 1x that was scratched. My bad !
When its going bad, its going bad.

The #6 Mask And Wig carried 150lbs in his last race at 1m1/2 at Colonial with his jump jock up (McVicar)...was this some sorta amateur riders' race with him carrying so much weight?

I didn't think they'd take the 2 down there. The 7 looked dead at the turn, and Prado probably told the stewards the same thing on the phone.

Thanks, congrats to Vin who started his P4 with that winner as well. Missed the exacta though with the 7 getting 2nd...win bet only.

Doesn't say "hurdles" on his last but with the time being 2:38 & normal 1 1/2 mile times for this type around 2:27, I'd say they were jumping.

Yeah, noticed that too & THAT time was 2:42 (they'd have to be walking if they weren't jumping)

Gonna finish it off with a pick 3 using my picks in the pick 4
3,7/ 3,6/ 5,7

Value in the featured John's Call...like the :4: a little, also :7: as a longshot.

Always First was an overlay (I know, its easy to say after the fact). Voss is a turf specialist like Sheppard. The horse was nosed by Southwest in a 50k claimer at Delaware in his first race in 9 months & Southwest was second in last year's John's Call.
I let the fact that he was "offered" for 50k turn me off him.

Nice call on the :1: in the 6th Phantom on Tour:

You know just as soon as I was beginning to get a little bit excited about that race, I was enjoying what I was seeing in R7 with the 3-8 right where I wanted them to be and they launched a bit too soon and that darned J. Leparoux (Congrats to him :) got up there on the #7 to beat me... Darn it!!

Unfortunately, it would have all been for naught anyway as I would have never had the #1 in the 8th race... Oh well... On to tomorrows card right?! :)

Have a good evening.
