There just might be hope out there for the future of racing as all 21 harness racing tracks, which are running live on August 14th and or 15th, have jointly worked together to stage a national event...Back to the Track. If you go to the website, www.backtothetrack.com (http://www.backtothetrack.com) I think horseplayers will be impressed with what each track is offering via a VIP TRACK PASS (http://backtothetrack.ustrotting.com/viptrackpass.cfm) including paid trips to this year's Little Brown Jug.
This event is so very important to horseracing fans in general. Not in order to support the racetracks, but for fans to come together, bring friends and family, and reconnect with a sport that we all have a passion for.
Now is not the time for naysayers or people who have completely given up on harness racing. Now is the time to actually do something simple and get a few nice perks while doing it.
Go to the website. Go to your local harness track on Saturday, August 14th and or 15th and simply enjoy a day back at the track.
