This is the most upsetting news for me in quite a while. Point Given has been retired because of a tendon injury.

What a shock. I was just starting to warm up to the horse and now he's gone. This gives new meaning to the handicappers term "never love a horse". Didn't Beyer just do an article on the need for a horse that could capture the publics attention and stick around a couple of years after their 3 year old season (a Seabiscuit).
