One glaring presence in this proposal is organized labor.
It looks to me as though this proposal would go nowhere unless the unions were taken care of. Disgusting. The unions only care about themselves.
This is fiddling while Rome is burning. As far as I am concerned the unions can go pound sand.
NYC OTB should be shut down, rebirthed as a privately run entity, free of political partonage, ridiculous salaries for executives and free of unions.
