41 years have passed. Time to go back, IMO.

It maybe time to go back, but right now nobody wants to pay for it.:(

I will never forget my Dad coming outside and making me stop running around with my buddies. He sat my butt down in front of the TV and forced me to watch the coverage of the landing and later the first moon walk.

Same thing he did for the Belmont Stakes when Secretariat ran. He told me I wasn't going to miss that either. I am glad he did both.

I think Buzz pretty much settled that argument.

You're a coward...and a liar...and...Bam

Good Luck Mr Gorsky  Was the "Mr. Gorsky" story really a hoax? It had me laughing for years...

From now on, whenever I hear Emeril say "BAM" I'm going to remember that right hook. It would have been better if Buzz could have landed one in the stomach and then caught him with an upper cut, laying him out on the ground.

Unfortunately yes. It actually was a Buddy Hackett joke.

I feel bad for that loser -- I'd feel honored to get beat down by Buzz Aldrin, Moon Walker, I'd tell everyone "The same right hand that planted the first flag on the moon caught me right here" -- that guy doesn't even believe he did anything though, he just got his ass kicked by an undistinguished old man.

undistinguished ?

if he thinks all Buzz did was hang around a film set wearing a funny suit -- sure, from his point of view he got his ass kicked by an old actor. Not nearly as cool as getting your ass kicked by an astronaut.

He would agree:

4/14/2010:
"For The United States, the leading space faring nation for nearly half a century, to be without carriage to low Earth orbit and with no human exploration capability to go beyond Earth orbit for an indeterminate time into the future, destines our nation to become one of second or even third rate stature."
