1825 Bottles recovered from Shipwreck
Not sure I would take a drink......they didn't even wait to get it shipboard
Just a fun news story.........we need more fun around here.......considering the state of the game

At $68,000 per bottle I would not drink it. I would sell it and buy some very good and much more recent champagne.
However, I would taste it if it looked and smelled OK. It was stored under near perfect conditions.

1825 Champagne (or any wine) almost has to be bad. 1825 whiskey or brandy would probably be as good as it ever was.

Better decant those bottles before drinking.

I would drink it if they found it in the Pyramids......
Test first. Stick finger into the open bottle. It it does not take the finger nail off then good to drink.
