Woodbine Race 6: Gypsy's Warning
you certainly make your plans ahead of time.

by that time we might all need your winner!

Yeah. I do my handicapping in the calmness of my home where I can think clearly and on my own time. I am not a speed handicapper - like those who handicap with less than 5 minutes to post. :D

Doubtful I would get the same odds on her as I got when she ran in the Eatontown. I would be happy to get half the odds (7/2) in this race.

having run at monmouth the last race makes this one double tough. the horse will have a big improvement in canada. anyway, i got to like your style, and in my world that horse makes tremendous sense

Ugh. Her morning line is 5/2. I'll either pass if the odds go lower or resort to using exotics. And I'm really bad at using exotics. :faint:

You could use her in a trifecta: (5,2) w (5,2,4) W (2,4) and (4,5) w (2,5,4) w (2,4). My model shows a near 50/50 chance of hitting,(48.7/51.3) and depending on what happens with the odds after post time you should show a profit.

Uhm, on Sunday. ;)

(It's like trying to forecast the weather, only racing has a few more variables. :D )

Okay, she didn't win, but it wasn't like she was never in contention. She just hung and I like that, especially for the next start.

There's always next time. :faint:
