Multiple grade I winner and prominent sire Dixie Union (http://www.stallionregister.com/sr_sire_page.asp?refno=4308570&origin=BHonline) [/url]was euthanized July 14 at Rood & Riddle Equine Hospital near Lexington because of a deteriorating neurologic problem.

Neurological problem? Weird...never heard of that one before.

Do they necropsy these horses to find out why?

Very sad...I hope Dixie didn't suffer because this type of thing is just awful.
