View Full Version : If Obama was a handicapper...

If Obama was a handicapper, would he be good or terrible? Would he bet the straight pools or load up on the exotics? How would he react to getting beat at the wire? Would he hit up his friends for a loan when he tapped out?

He'd be one of those guys betting everyone in the field so he could show a winning ticket after the race.

I think he would intentionally get shut out all the time, so he could never be wrong. :p

Obama doesn't strike me as the kind of a guy who bets in the Show pool. (See passage of healthcare bill.)

Now I realize that my response above is the complete opposite of Andy's. Andy is sure Barack plays it safe. But then Andy has been FOXED News and I haven't been.

He wouldn't get to handicapping-he'd spend the day tracking down winners and redistributing their profits amongst the losers. This guy is a real robbing hood.

Would Obama believe in track biases? Jocks stiffing horses?

If Obama were a handicapper, he'd post Saturday's picks on Sunday morning and proclaim his excellence.

these are more if he ran racing

would he believe in affirmative action for jockeys? minority riders get 5lbs?

his cash for clunkers program would give you $3,000 for your beaten up $2,500 claimer.

If your horse breaksdown, don't worry, the government will insure you.

If you hit a pick 6 for $50,000 grand he'll take more of it than if you hit one for $10,000. the good news is it will be redistributed back to the players like HANA has requested.

He'll ask the head of NASA to go around and tell all of the Arabian horses how much their contribution to racing, especially at Delaware Park, has meant to the world.

He wouldnt bet state bred races, because he knows how easy it is to conjur up a fake foaling certificate.

If the tracks that took his money go broke, have no fear, bailout!!!

Chris Mathews would become the new voice of the SPA and would get a tingle when Rachel wins

Instead of a winners circle, we'd let every horse who tried hard get their picture taken as well.

And if he had a bad couple of years betting, he'd blame someone else

Dude, what's your problem?

Maybe it's time to petition Mike to have you banned.

It's not a problem. That's like me asking what your problem is for posting, imo, a meaningless waste of time of a thread....you post a thread and I post my opinion on it.

Petition away. Go for it...you have that right.

DJofSD

Yes, there is a problem and it's you.

Adding you two word comment to every thread you don't like or you think is a waste of time does not add anything to the conversation. If you don't like it, stay out and shut up.

I thought Obama was the problem...if he isn't the problem then why does he DOMINATE so many folks psyche around here?
Only one reason you started the thread...cuz you were thinking about him.

He is fair game and is a topic no more or no less than Bush was while he was the sitting president.

I started the thread in a way that I thought was non partisan. If you took the initial questions as a put down or critisism then I think your hyper-sensitive.

That would definitely be his style for it be analogous to voting "present".

Then he'd blame the guy in front of him.

Some possibilities:

1. He'd be a terrible money manager.

2. He'd go partners with W, then blame him for every losing bet they make.

3. He'd occassionally hit an IRS signer, and cash it using his Kenyan papers.

...
1. He'd pass a law making all winners pay $66 so that everyone can experience the joy of big payoffs.

2. He'd pass a law making all races dead heats so that everyone is a winner.

3. He'd pass a law that raises the take to 50% and make the tracks take the loss.

This will stimulate more betting on horse races, right?

He would only bet races on synthetic, which is racing socialism. He loves those races where the entire field is bunched within 5 lengths and nobody can win by any margin.

I think he would outlaw any track biases, and increase the takeout for the "developing" horses ( :D ), i.e. those that rarely earn even minor checks.

Ladies and gentlemen- on the advice of the track stewards-#28 Obamaramadama is a late scratch for failing to have his papers on file with the racing secretary.
