Just thinking of a strange scenario but it could possibly happen. Ive seen superfectas in 4 horse fields before In Cali, so picture this, its a 5 horse field, and a horse causes another horse to lose the jockey, the riderless horse does not finish. Other horse comes down, who is placed 4th in the superfecta?

1-2-3-"All"

The offending horse would be listed as "finished 4th, disqualified and unplaced." The stricken entry would be awarded the 4th place purse.

However for wagering purposes, you cannot pay off on a horse which didn't finish, thus the "1-2-3-all" listed above would be the super payoff.

Why the all, if there's only one horse left that finished? Makes no sense.

I agree that makes no sense. if the fallen horse is placed 4th, he's 4th, right?

If you designate the 4th slot as "all" what you are saying is that anyone who had the Disqualified horse gets paid as do the bettors of the fallen horse.

This is a great question.

Do we know where the horse that caused problem (lost jock) finished?

Since the jock could always fall off, once jock falls off, too bad.

Since the offending horse can go no lower that fourth, that's where he goes.

Just hope he/she was el chalko.
