Not much to shoot at on this card today. Race 1 was really hurt with the scratches. Rudy is trying to unload the #3 (or maybe this level is exactly where he fits) but I'm not sure I can beat him. He faced a very good field in his last and was over his head. He should outsprint #4 and just may be long gone. The #7 is interesting as a mild upsetter. Ran a nice one two back (but beaten by #3) and has some back races that will scare him, but I think he needs someone to hook him to have a shot. The #5 is worth a look as well but I am not too enthused with this guy.

How is this 4 Crea's Law currently at 6/5?

Horse just worked a good 4 Furlongs in 49.4, with a 3 Furlong split of 37.1.

Work would usually look really good, but worked just 4 days ago? In my opinion, a hard work like that too close to a race is doing nothing but conditioning a horse, especially a 1st timer.

I use workouts as my main handicapping factor, and according to my personal experiences, this horse will need to be much the best to beat these! Hard work 4 days out is a MAJOR downgrade, especially with a 1st timer.

Not to mention, this one has never worked over the Belmont surface, another negative.

May be wrong... but just from experiences, a def. bet against

As bad as Serpe's FTS stats are I think I am using this #8 underneath and a small win bet. He worked with a rare Serpe FTS winner, albeit slower, and I think he is ready. Mingun, the sire of #6, is underrated.

Couldn't be any more right. When will trainers ever learn! Def. bet next out though! Depending on class of race, but a good bet regardless.
