Obama bypasses Senate for new Medicare chief

President Barack Obama bypassed the Senate Wednesday and appointed Dr. Donald Berwick, a Harvard professor and patient care specialist, to run Medicare and Medicaid.

Obama didn't even give the senate a shot at this guy. He could have submitted the name and then if things bogged down he could have used the recess appointment. But with this lulu he wanted as little scrutiny as possible. Get him in under the radar.

This guy is right out of the mold as former puppets in chief. Obama is following tradition, making bad appointments and bad decisions.

Hopefully, a new Congress will block some of the future appointments and find a way to put the brakes on some of his bad decisions.

I've been hesitant to buy into the Beck theory about this administration. In light of their continued arrogance in decisions and complete disregard for the the will of a majority of folk, Beck's claims hold water. An ocean full.

They are. They're busing fundamentally transforming America -- CHANGING the face of America. They're doing their jobs. Have no fear. :rolleyes:

I do fear what they're doing because of the lack of transparency that is the hallmark of this administration. There have been so many radical czars that have been brought in that I think we have an unaccountable shadow administration that is doing who knows what.

Why do you think so many refer to this administration as the "regime"? Accountability? Surely you jest.
